Pigment cream is used to renovate leather in the same shade. This cream uses the same processes as the one used to finish leather in tanneries. Easy to use, it restores the original finish in the same shade by removing all discolorations, scratches and cracks in the leather. Apply to the entire surface for a uniform result.
AVEL Tinting Pigment Cream is best applied with a Rectangular Foam Applicator below or with a Cotton Cloth, Cotton Wick, Sponge or Painter’s Roller Brush, as in the video below. It would be best if you chose the tool according to your preferences and the properties of your leather.
For flat surfaces, use the Painter’s Roller Brush below.
This cream must be applied to a clean and degreased surface. Therefore, prior cleaning of the leather is essential with AVEL Smooth Leather Cleaning Soap and possibly Hussard Aerosol Leather and Textile Stain Remover in the event of sebum (headrests, for example).
Notes :
– the 375 ml can is enough to treat a 3-seater sofa.
– shake well before use!
– is often applied in 2 coats, the first serving as a primer.
– each coat must be fixed with AVEL Fixer. Wait at least 4 hours between the two.
– the ambient temperature must be above 0°C.
Suppose your leather is likely to be exposed to the elements (a convertible car, for example), complete with an application of Tenax Aerosol Saphir Finishing Varnish. AVEL Anti-Stain Leather Aerosol can also be helpful occasionally in case of heavy rain.
– can be easily removed with AVEL Smooth Leather Cleaning Soap before fixing and Fine Alcohol for Varnishing after fixing.
